A Stamp of Honor: Seeing My Name and Face on a “My Stamp” Sheet

There are certain moments in life that feel like true milestones—proof that you have built a legacy, reached a community, and carved out a name for yourself. Receiving a custom “My Stamp” sheet from the Chandigarh GPO Philatelic Bureau, featuring my own photograph and the name “Lalit Berry,” was one of those surreal, proud moments.

In an increasingly digital world, there is something profoundly grounding about the tactile nature of a postage stamp. It represents connection, communication, and the idea that your mark is traveling across the world.

More Than Just Postage

When I look at this sheet of stamps, it isn’t just about the novelty of seeing my face in a philatelic collection. It feels like a culmination of the “Sharp” approach I’ve been taking toward my life and work over the past year.

Whether it’s writing a book, leading digital campaigns, or stepping into brand advocacy, I have always believed in putting my best foot forward. Seeing my name and photo on an official government-issued stamp is a wonderful reminder that when you stay active, focused, and persistent, you eventually find yourself reaching places you once only imagined.

The Significance of the “Greetings” Theme

The choice of the “Greetings” theme for these stamps is quite fitting. My professional life, especially over the last 15 months, has been entirely dedicated to outreach:

  • Through Words: Writing books and articles to connect with readers.

  • Through Strategy: Helping businesses like NexLevel Home Inspections and Crack & Attic Doctor connect with their local Calgary clients.

  • Through Imagery: Creating branding for new YouTube ventures that aim to bring positive, active energy to viewers.

This stamp is a symbolic “greeting” from me to the world—a testament that I am here, I am active, and I am still creating.

Why This Milestone Matters After 50

As I’ve mentioned before, the “50s Plus” era is about refinement and celebration. Achieving something like this—a personalized philatelic tribute—is a small but significant nod to the fact that the work I am doing is resonating.

It serves as a reminder to all of you: Celebrate your small wins as loudly as you celebrate your big ones. Whether it’s a stamp, a successful campaign, or just a day where you felt completely in control of your goals, take a moment to honor your own progress.

To anyone holding back on starting that new project, writing that book, or investing in their personal brand: start now. You never know where your journey will take you, or which official milestones you’ll be celebrating next year.

I am honored to have this piece of history, and I’m looking forward to using these stamps to send “greetings” to friends and colleagues, spreading a bit of that “Sharp” energy far and wide.
